Building EUDR Compliance: LIEN’A’s Natural Latex Traceability for Europe
As the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) approaches, LIEN’A is strengthening its natural latex traceability and data capabilities to support European brands with transparent, responsible supply chains.
As Europe strengthens requirements for supply-chain transparency, sustainability is no longer just a product claim. For manufacturers and brands supplying the European market, the ability to demonstrate the origin of raw materials, how they are sourced, and how they move through the supply chain is becoming essential.
Natural rubber is one of the seven commodities covered by the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). This makes traceability and responsible sourcing critical for any company aiming to supply the European market.
According to the current regulatory timeline, EUDR will apply from 30 December 2026 for large and medium-sized operators, and fro 30 June 2027 for most micro and small operators.
For LIEN’A, EUDR is not simply a regulatory requirement. It is an opportunity to build a more transparent, traceable, and responsible supply chain for our European partners.
I. 39 Years of Natural Latex Expertise

II. A Strong Foundation for Traceability
One of the key foundations of LIEN’A’s EUDR readiness is our experience with the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS).
As a GOLS-certified organic natural latex manufacturer, LIEN’A maintains Chain of Custody records for organic natural latex purchases and undergoes regular inspections and audits under the GOLS framework.
This experience has strengthened our capabilities in:
- Supplier management
- Material traceability
- Certification control
- Supply-chain documentation
More importantly, it provides LIEN’A with an established foundation to further develop our traceability system for the European market.
III. Building EUDR-Ready Data Capability
LIEN’A is developing a structured EUDR Traceability & Compliance Data Pack to support European customers in their due-diligence processes for applicable products.
Our roadmap focuses on progressively strengthening our ability to provide relevant supply-chain information, including:
- Raw material and supplier information
- Country of production
- Supply-chain traceability
- Relevant production-area and geolocation data
- Supporting legality and sustainability documentation
- Chain-of-Custody records
- Product and shipment references
- Certification and compliance documentation
Our objective is not simply to provide individual documents, but to create a more structured and consistent flow of information connecting raw materials, production, products, and shipments.
Because we believe:
EUDR readiness is not about having a certificate.
It is about having reliable data, traceability, and evidence behind the product.
This is the direction in which LIEN’A is investing and developing its capabilities through 2026 and into 2027.
IV. Sustainability Built Into Manufacturing
EUDR readiness is part of a broader sustainability journey at LIEN’A.
Our environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001, supported by initiatives including wastewater treatment, latex waste reuse, and resource-efficiency improvements in our manufacturing operations.
Together with our natural latex expertise, international certifications, and experience with certified supply chains, these capabilities provide a strong foundation for greater transparency and responsible sourcing.

V. Preparing for the European Market of Tomorrow
For European brands, retailers, and OEM partners, choosing a supplier is increasingly about more than product quality and price.
It is also about:
- Can the raw material be traced?
- Can the supplier provide reliable supply-chain information?
- Can the supplier support our due-diligence process?
- Can we demonstrate greater transparency to our customers?
LIEN’A is preparing to answer these questions.
Through 2026 and into 2027, we are strengthening our EUDR-related data, traceability, and documentation capabilities to support European partners with increasingly structured information for applicable products.
Our goal is clear: to evolve from a natural latex manufacturer into a transparent, responsible, and EUDR-ready supply chain partner for Europe.
